Mumbai, June 18 2026: Mahindra Farm Equipment Business (FEB), part of the Mahindra
Group and the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volume, has crossed a landmark
production milestone of 70 lakh farm tractors. The achievement marks a significant step in
Mahindra’s journey of advancing farm mechanization and enabling prosperity through
mechanization for millions of farmers in India and around the world.

Backed by a robust manufacturing footprint in India and a strong global presence, Mahindra
FEB develops and markets its products under the Mahindra Tractors and Swaraj Tractors
brands, as well as Gromax—the maker of the Trakstar and Hindustan range of tractors.
The company offers one of the industry’s broadest tractor portfolios, with over 350 models
and variants—complemented by a growing range of tractor-driven and self-propelled farm
machinery.

Founded in 1963, Mahindra Tractors is India’s No.1 tractor brand, with manufacturing
across Mumbai, Nagpur, Zaheerabad, Rudrapur, Jaipur and Rajkot, and R&D based at MRV,
Chennai. Swaraj Tractors, formerly Punjab Tractors Ltd., is India’s second largest
tractor brand, and has emerged as one of the country’s fastest growing tractor
players, over the last decade, driven by consistent volume growth and a strong connect
with the farming community. Credited with developing the country’s first indigenous tractor in
1974, Swaraj has a strong presence in Mohali through its manufacturing plants, foundry and
R&D facility. Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd., a 60:40 JV between M&M Ltd. and the
Government of Gujarat, operates from Vadodara and is India’s No.1 regional tractor brand.

The milestone builds on Mahindra FEB’s strong momentum in product innovation and world-
class manufacturing, with record annual tractor sales of over 526,000 units in FY’26, new
launches such as the Mahindra 585 YUVO TECH+ V1, Mahindra NOVO Premium Edition
and Swaraj Protek, as well as the global expansion of Mahindra OJA across key markets.
In FY27, Mahindra FEB will introduce 7 new tractors and 12 new features, spanning the
new Mahindra Tractor range and Swaraj Protek range.

Commenting on this achievement Rajesh Jejurikar – Executive Director & CEO, Auto &
Farm Equipment Business (AFS), M&M Ltd. said “As India progresses towards its vision
of Viksit Bharat, transforming agriculture will remain central to nation-building. At Mahindra,
we are proud to contribute to this journey, with our tractors strengthening rural communities
and supporting long-term national development. The milestone of 70 lakh tractors is a proud
moment for all of us, as we continue to build for the future.”

Veejay Nakra – President, Farm Equipment Business, M&M Ltd. shared, “Beyond scale,
this 70 lakh milestone reflects our deep commitment to farming and the enduring trust
farmers have placed in our brands. That trust has been built over decades of delivering
reliable, tough and productivity-driven tractors that stand by farmers through every season. It
strengthens our resolve to Transform the Lives of Farmers Globally by Making Technology
more Accessible and Relevant. As we look ahead, our growth will be shaped by evolving
farmer needs, with a continued focus on advanced products, intelligent features, and
solutions that deliver real value in the field.”

With a presence in over 50 markets, Mahindra FEB is the global leader in tractors by volume,
