NEW DELHI – Under the patronage of H.E. Issa Saleh Al Shibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to India, SOHAR Port and Freezone concluded a two –
day investment roadshow in New Delhi, bringing together Indian businesses, manufacturers and exporters to explore investment, trade and international expansion opportunities through Oman.
Held on 15 September under the theme “Your Gateway to International Markets,” the roadshow featured dedicated business and investment sessions organised in
collaboration with the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in New Delhi.
The sessions highlighted opportunities for Indian companies to establish or expand manufacturing, distribution and logistics operations through SOHAR, while strengthening access to markets acros s the GCC and beyond.

Across the two days, SOHAR showcased its integrated port and freezone ecosystem, investment opportunities across key industrial sectors, and the infrastructure and connectivity supporting businesses operating from Oman. With total investments exceeding USD 30
billion across the Port and Freezone and more than 72 million tonnes of cargo handled annually, SOHAR provides an established industrial and logistics platform connecting
businesses to regional and global markets.
Building on earlier webinars conducted with ASSOCHAM, the roadshow advanced the engagement towards more targeted business discussions, concluding with B2B meetings focused on specific investment opportunities, potential partnerships and pathways for Indian businesses seeking to expand through Oman.
